The WRJ Southeast District is the link between Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) and local Sisterhoods
Sisterhood is the women's organization of the synagogue, which provides a Jewish environment for the individual to expand and grow. The Women of Reform Judaism, through Sisterhood, are committed to strengthening the synagogue and perpetuating Judaism.
Through District and Sisterhood programs, we encourage:
- Membership in Sisterhood and Synagogue
- The search for the spiritual in our worship and prayers
- Greater commitment to Jewish study
- Following the teaching of the prophets through community activities
- Development of future leadership
- Provision for a sense of identify and belonging with other Jewish women.
The WRJ Southeast District exists to assist the work of local Sisterhood leaders and to make your life easier.
